Former Jordan driver, Giorgio Pantano, who contested 14 Grands Prix for the Irish outfit in 2004, until he ran out of funding, will contest the inaugural GP2 series this year with David Sears' Super Nova International Racing team.
The Italian, whose best result was 13th in the Malaysian and European Grands Prix, was replaced in Canada by Timo Glock, who finished 7th, adding to Pantano's misery, but returned for the next race (USA). However, after his home race, and his fourth crash of the season, he was dropped in favour of Glock for the remainder of the season.
