Kimi Raikkonen has confirmed that he will not need an engine change for this weekend's Grand Prix, while team boss Jean Todt claims that media speculation regarding a minor problem (water leak) in Melbourne had been blown out of all proportion.

"We are going to keep it," he told reporters at a post-practice press conference, "There is no reason to change it."

"The whole story about the engine came from outside speculation and not from us," added Todt. "Yes, there seemed to be a problem with Kimi's pipe which maybe lost a slight bit of water. However, after all the testing we saw nothing to demonstrate that we should change our preparations for the race or change the engine."

Despite winning the Australian GP, Raikkonen has been unable to match the pace of his Brazilian teammate in today's free practice sessions.
