Just in time for this weekend's action at Taupo, round five of the third season of the A1 GP World Cup of Motorsport, our friends at Amalgam advise us that the first of their 1:43 scale cars is now available.
Since the earliest days of the series Amalgam has supplied the organizers, teams and sponsors with their legendary 1:8 scale models. Now, Amalgam is offering race fans the opportunity to buy their very own 1:43 versions.
"We have started with Teams Great Britain, New Zealand, France, Netherlands, South Africa, Ireland and India, and we will be working through all 22 teams as the season progresses," a spokesman told Pitpass.
The first Amalgam 1:43rd Scale A1GP model to be released is the Team New Zealand Car, to coincide with the this weekend's race at Taupo, this will be followed, in fortnightly intervals, by the Team Great Britain car then that of Team France.
