Adrian Valles posted the fastest lap time this morning in a wet free practice session in Sentul, Indonesia.

The FMS International driver posted a best time of 1:23.083 in a session held in difficult conditions.

In the first 2008 GP2 Asia Series round in Dubai last month, Valles was regularly fast on track, finishing 4th in the opening Race.

This morning's top 3 was completed by Vitaly Petrov, who had a difficult weekend in Dubai, and first round hero Romain Grosjean, while Sébastien Buemi in his Trust Team Arden car was just a little bit quicker than Bruno Senna in a 1:23.630.

Marcello Puglisi (Piquet Sports) did not participate following a gearbox problem. He will still take part of the race.

Fairuz Fauzy (Super Nova Racing) and Stephen Jelley (ART Grand Prix) – both receive a five place penalty on the grid for crossing the finish line more than once after the chequered flag.
