NEWS STORY

Just one week after the Valencia round where this young GP2 team displayed strong potential, Ocean Racing Technology will head to the legendary Spa Francorchamps circuit for the first time for the tenth round of the 2009 GP2 Championship season.

Karun Chandhok and Alvaro Parente, both very strong challengers in Valencia where they secured more points, are planning to fight for a positive result. "I hope I will be able to run with a strong rhythm and stay away from any problems and mishap. Firstly, it is crucial to have a good qualifying then to finish the first race in a good position in order to do the same thing in race two," Karun Chandhok explained. "Weekends like the one I had in Valencia are really frustrating because the car is very competitive but an external factor prevented us from fighting with the best. However, I am confident everything will be better in Spa."

The same winning spirit is alive in his Portuguese teammate, Alvaro Parente, who promises that his bad luck in Valencia will not repeat itself in Belgium: "I think we should be in a good position in Spa, and that we will have the opportunity to put Valencia's bad luck behind us. Spa is a circuit where driving is so pleasant. It is a also a track which requires rigorous driving and which is demanding for the car because it has very fast long curves and we reach high speeds. I am confident and can't wait to start the action in Spa."
