Neel Jani has fond memories of racing at Sepang last season when he finished on the podium. "After the tough times in Beijing I am looking forward to Malaysia. It will be my first real A1GP race of the season 06/07 and going back to Malaysia is an excellent feeling, Jani said. ""For me Malaysia holds a lot of good memories with two successive podiums in last year's sprint and feature races. I have some good experience of this challenging track, which I really like. It has a unique character with the palm trees especially. However, conditions can be really hot there and you have to come well prepared to acclimatise quickly. I hope that there will be a lot of fans to cheer us on. The weather can also change quite quickly and go from very hot and humid to a complete downpour. I'm confident that we can get a good result in Malaysia and get back on the podium."

Max Welti, team principal, A1 Team Switzerland, "I'm pleased to be back to Malaysia what I consider my home-from-home, Kuala Lumpur. I know this place so well from my Sauber Petronas days and also from a 24 Hours race I worked on at Sepang. We started the season with bad luck, but we know that our car is fast and our package is competitive. So I am hopeful that we will have a good chance this weekend on the challenging Sepang track with Neel Jani and our rookie Marcel Fässler. We will have to keep an eye on the weather as it can be unpredictable."
