"Quali was a very very close affair and it appears as though McLaren will not be quite so dominant. Norris let the side down after such a speedy start to the week end. Conversely Piastri was the one who suffered most in the lead up but when it came down to the final laps he was able to pull out quite an astounding result. The opening couple of laps I think will be quite manic given P1&2 have issues and they will be keen to strut their stuff. As for a mention in despatches...well Antonelli certainly deserves acknowledgement. The kid put in a great lap and he got his reward. Canada is no favourite track of mine but tomorrows race will be quite exciting...at least it appears to be so!"
