BIOGRAPHY

Arvid began karting at the age of five and by the age of seven was already competing for championships. As he was quickly identified as a potential generational talent, he became the protégé of Oliver Rowland, 2025 Formula E champion at just nine years old.

In 2020, aged 13, Arvid won the WSK Super Master Series in the OKJ (age 12-14) class, going on to win the WSK Euro Series and WSK Final Cup in 2021, the same year he signed as a Red Bull Junior driver.

Arvid made his single-seater debut in 2022, joining the grid mid-season and taking three points finishes in the Italian F4 Championship. In his first full season of single-seater racing, he won his first F4 UAE race on just his third attempt. In Italian F4, he started the year with untouchable dominance, with victories in Imola, Misano and Monza and finished the season third overall. Before moving up to Formula 3, Arvid won the iconic F4 World Cup Race, held at one of the most challenging circuits in the world, Macau.

Arvid joined Prema Racing in 2024 for his first year in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. In what remains to be one of the most impressive debuts in F3 history, he won the opening Sprint Race in Bahrain, making himself the youngest-ever race winner at just 16 years old. He finished the season 4th overall, after four victories (including an iconic double victory at Silverstone) and earned the Aramco Best Rookie Award.

In September 2024, it was announced that Arvid would step up to FIA Formula 2 in 2025 with Campos Racing. To prepare for the season, he competed in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship and won the title after earning six race victories. This granted him 18 points for his FIA Super Licence, of which 40 points are required to race in Formula One.

In Formula 2, he became the youngest-ever race winner in F2 history by winning the Jeddah Sprint at age 17. He subsequently won the feature race in Barcelona and the Sprint race in Abu Dhabi, as well as achieving five podiums, to finish 6th overall.

Arvid first drove a Formula One car in 2024, driving Sebastian Vettel's 2012 championship-winning RB8 at a show run in Houston, Texas. At the beginning of 2025, he completed a private test in the 2023 AlphaTauri AT04 at Imola.

Arvid was granted his FIA Super Licence in 2025, after Red Bull requested a special exemption to allow him to make his F1 debut in FP1 at the British Grand Prix.

In December 2025, Racing Bulls announced that Arvid would race alongside Liam Lawson for the 2026 Formula One season.
