Changes at Ferrari and Red Bull

NEWS STORY
08/02/2026

Ahead of the new season, both Ferrari and Red Bull are making changes behind the scenes.

Lewis Hamilton has parted ways with Marc Hynes (again), the latter heading to Cadillac.

Friends since their junior days in racing, Hynes - 1997 British Formula Renault and 1999 British Formula 3 champion - joined Hamilton's Project 44 management company in 2015.

The pair split amicably in 2021 before Hynes was brought back into the fold when Hamilton joined Ferrari.

Hynes precise role at Cadillac has not been confirmed as yet, but he is manager to reserve driver, Guanyu Zhou.

There is still no news on who will replace the seven-time world champion's race engineer Riccardo Adami following his move to head the Maranello outfit's driver academy and Testing of Previous Cars programme (TPC).

While Charles Leclerc's engineer, Bryan Bozzi worked with Hamilton last week in Barcelona this was only a temporary state of affairs, and though it is unconfirmed former performance engineer to Oscar Piastri at McLaren, Cedric Michel-Grosjean (no relation) is tipped to get the job.

Another change to the Hamilton team is the departure of Ella Yeboah his press officer at Maranello.

Meanwhile, Racing Bulls engineer, Guillaume Dezoteux has headed from Faenza to Maranello.

"Today is the end of my 18-year adventure with the Red Bull family," he posted on Linkedin. "What a ride!

"I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team," he added, "and I'm wishing them all the best in the upcoming season with the new car and the brand-new power unit."

Previously Head of Vehicle Performance at RB, the Frenchman's precise role at Ferrari has yet to be confirmed, though it is understood he will report to Matteo Togninalli, the Maranello outfit's Head of Trackside Engineering.

Over at Milton Keynes, the purge of Christian Horner's 'old guard' continues, with Joanna Fleet (Head of Human Resources) and Julia George (Director of Partnerships), following Oliver Hughes (Chief Marketing Officer) and Paul Smith (Director of Communications and Social Media) out of the door, along with Group Marketing Director, Simon Smith-Wright, and Senior Communications Manager, Alice Hedworth.
